Bhopal DRM conducts comprehensive inspection of Bina Rail Section

Bhopal: In a proactive move to bolster operational efficiency and passenger safety, Pankaj Tyagi, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Bhopal Division, conducted an extensive window-trailing inspection of the Rani Kamalapati to Bina rail section. The inspection prioritized track health, signaling systems, and safety infrastructure across key crossings.

During his visit to Bina Station, the DRM meticulously reviewed passenger amenities, including the cleanliness of circulating areas, functionality of automatic ticket vending machines, and the hygiene of catering stalls and restrooms. Shri Tyagi emphasized a “passenger-first” approach, issuing immediate corrective directives to station authorities to enhance overall comfort.

A significant highlight of the visit was the DRM’s direct interaction with the running staff at the Loco Pilot and Guard Crew Lobby. He engaged in a candid dialogue regarding the challenges of train operations and reviewed work conditions to ensure the welfare of frontline employees. Additionally, he assessed the progress of the ongoing yard remodeling project. Accompanied by Senior DOM Rohit Malviya and other top officials, Tyagi’s inspection underscores West Central Railway’s commitment to modernizing infrastructure while maintaining rigorous safety standards.
