Bhopal Railway Division announces revised train timetables

= New Year, new schedule

Bhopal: Starting January 1, 2026, the Railway Administration will implement a new timetable across the Bhopal Division. The update aims to optimize operations, with Senior DCM Saurabh Kataria noting that increased average speeds across the network will result in significant time savings for passengers.

= Revised departure timings from Bhopal
Several key trains departing from Bhopal and Rani Kamalapati stations will see minor adjustments. Notably, the Bhopal-Rewa Express (22145) will now depart earlier at 23:00, while the Bhopal-Jodhpur Express (14814) shifts to 16:40. Conversely, the Bhopal-Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Express (19324) will depart slightly later at 17:10. Other services, including the Gwalior Express and Pune Express, have also seen 5–20 minute shifts in their schedules.

= Changes at intermediate and destination stations

Arrival times at major junctions have been recalibrated. The Bilaspur-Bhopal Express (18236) is now set to arrive earlier at 17:00. At Itarsi Station, arrival/departure slots for several long-distance trains, including the Darbhanga-Mysore and Patna-Bengaluru expresses, have been advanced to 12:20/12:30. Travelers using the Sant Hirdaram Nagar interchange should also note timing shifts for the Dahod-Bhopal and Bilaspur-Indore services.

= Travel advisory for passengers

To ensure a smooth journey, Railway officials have urged passengers to verify their schedules before heading to the station. Updated timings are available via the Rail Madad 139 helpline, authorized railway websites, and official mobile apps.
