Putin delivered New Year’s address to Russians

Moscow, Jan 1 (UNI/SPUTNIK) President Vladimir Putin delivered his New Year’s address to the Russian people.

The head of state stated that Russia will achieve its goals and move only forward.

“We rely on our own strength, on those who are close to us, who are near and dear to us, and we are always ready to lend a shoulder. “He also emphasised that the SVO participants took on the responsibility of fighting for the Motherland, and added that the country believes in the fighters and in victory.

“Millions of people across Russia, I assure you, are thinking of you with you on this New Year’s Eve, empathizing with you, hoping for you. We are united in our sincere, selfless, and devoted love for Russia.”Putin noted that the Russian people, with their successes, are writing new chapters in the country’s thousand-year history, and the strength of their unity determines its sovereignty and security. He wished Russians happiness, health, mutual understanding, and inspiring love.

“May our traditions, faith, and memory unite all generations and support us always and in everything. Together, we are one big family, strong and united.”

The President expressed confidence that the plans of Russians are inseparable from the fate of the country and their sincere desire to benefit it.

“Mutual support gives us confidence that everything we have planned, our hopes will definitely come true. New Year is, above all, faith in the best, in goodness and good fortune, a unique and magical holiday when hearts open to love, friendship and compassion, to sensitivity and generosity.

“The head of state spoke against the traditional backdrop of the Kremlin walls. His address lasted about three minutes. The first to see it were residents of Kamchatka and Chukotka , who had already celebrated the New Year. The time difference between these regions and Moscow is nine hours.
