Nashik, (UNI) Various development works related to the Kumbh Mela, costing Rs. 108.27 crore, were approved at a high level meeting on Wednesday.
During the meeting of the Nashik Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Development Authority, its Chairman and Nashik Divisional Commissioner Praveen Gedam instructed the administrative departments concerned to complete the process of issuing No Objection Certificates (NOCs) soon to ensure the Kumbh Mela-related development works are completed on time.
In the meeting, administrative approval was granted for the construction of a new administrative building in Trimbakeshwar, for water supply-related works at Kherwadi, Sukene, Odha, and Deolali railway stations, for appointing a survey consultant for the survey and related works of land acquired and taken over under the Trimbakeshwar Municipal Council among other projects.
Gedam directed each department to plan for the completion of works before March 2027. He also stated that the process of issuing necessary no-objection certificates for the completion of the works should be completed as soon as possible. UNI XC SSP
