DGP bids farewell to retiring officers

Bhopal: Four employees who retired in December from various branches of the Police Headquarters were accorded a warm and dignified farewell by Director General of Police Kailash Makwana on Wednesday. During the ceremony, the DGP presented plants and mementoes to the retirees and conveyed his best wishes for a healthy and fulfilling post-retirement life. Orders related to the settlement of their pending service claims were also formally handed over.

The farewell ceremony was organised at the conference hall of the new Police Headquarters building. Special Director General of Police Anil Kumar, Inspector General of Police Anshuman Singh, other senior officers, staff members and family members of the retirees were present on the occasion.

Those honoured included Honorary Deputy Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) Bhagwandas Vidhani, Acting Deputy Superintendent of Police (CID) Kalpana Sharma Mishra, Subedar (M), Special Branch Om Narayan Dwivedi, and Head Constable (M), Special Branch Swarajwati Verma.

Assistant Inspector General Irmine Shah highlighted the service careers of the retiring personnel, while senior officers praised their dedication, sincerity and valuable contribution to the police force.
