Kangra, Dec 31 (UNI) The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Regional Office Delhi, organised a Consumer Outreach Programme on Consumer Grievance Redressal and Cyber Hygiene on Monday at Hotel Sagar, Matour, Kangra.
The programme saw enthusiastic participation of over 100 attendees, including consumers, members of TRAI-registered consumer organisations, representatives of telecom service providers, and local Anganwadi workers.
TRAI officers Rajesh Tripathi, Joint Advisor, Sushil Kumar Bansal, Senior Research Officer, and Suresh KV, along with representatives from Airtel, BSNL, Jio, and Vodafone Idea, addressed the gathering. They sensitised participants about the consumer grievance redressal mechanism and cyber frauds, highlighting preventive measures to ensure safe digital practices.
The TRAI DND 3.0 App was also showcased during the session, following which several participants downloaded the app, reaffirming their commitment to curbing unsolicited commercial communications and protecting consumer rights.
