Jaipur, (UNI) Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, hissister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and her family reached Sawai Madhopur on Tuesday on a private visit to undertake a jungle sojourn at Ranthambhore National Park for three-four days.
The family group – besides the Gandhi siblings – include the Wayanad MP Priyanka’s husband Robert Vadra and their children and some friends, reached Sawai Madhopur by road from New Delhi in a 6-7 vehicle carcade and drove straight to the elite Sherbagh hotel in Ranthambhore.
They would stay in the area for 3 to 4 days for celebrating the new year eve and undertaking jungle trekking in the Ranthambhore National Park.
A shortwhile after arriving at the hotel, the group was scheduled to proceed on the tiger Safari in the jungle.
While Rahul, Priyanka and Robert Vadra opted to stay back at the hotel to take rest, Vadra family children and friends went on tiger trekking in four gypsies in the afternoon shift.
According to unofficial sources, during the Ranthambhore sojourn, the Congress’ nuumero uno family may also hold a family get-together.
The tiger reserve at Sawai Madhopur is the Gandhi siblings’ favourite destination for short holiday breaks. Rahul and Priyanka often visitsthe tiger sanctuary to keep the date with Ranthambhore tigers. UNI SKS SSP
