PM Modi highlights Minister Puri’s Write-up: ‘Reform Express 2025’

New Delhi, Dec 30 (UNI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday lauded union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri’s reflections on India’s governance model, emphasising the “quiet, cumulative work” that has become the backbone of the nation’s economic trajectory.
Sharing the minister’s write-up, titled Reform Express 2025, the Prime Minister noted that India’s current growth story is built on a foundation of credibility, stability, and long-term investor confidence.
In his article, union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, detailed how the government has moved away from sporadic, headline-grabbing announcements in favour of a steady, methodical approach to policy.
Minister Puri described this process as a relentless effort to clear structural bottlenecks that have historically hindered India’s development.
“The quieter work of governance, the steady, week after week clearing of bottlenecks—this cumulative push is what I mean by Reform Express 2025,” Minister Puri stated.
The PMO’s highlight of the piece underscores several key sectors where these “quiet” reforms have taken deep root:
Labour and Trade: Modernising laws to enhance ease of doing business and finalising strategic trade agreements.
Logistics and Energy: Streamlining supply chains and ensuring energy security to power industrial growth.
Market Stability: Implementing reforms that signal to global markets that India is a predictable and reliable partner for long-term investment.
The concept of ‘Reform Express 2025’ reflects the government’s shift toward incremental but high-impact governance. By focusing on the weekly resolution of administrative and legislative hurdles, the administration argues it has created a more resilient economic environment than one-off interventions ever could.
