Bhopal: A graceful handover ceremony was held on Saturday at the Foundry Division of BHEL, Bhopal, marking the delivery of the TM4509 Magnet Frame Casting developed for WDM3A ALCO locomotives destined for Mozambique under a RITES order. The casting was formally handed over by Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal.
Senior officials present on the occasion included Rupesh Telang, General Manager (Feeders & TCB–Manufacturing, Commercial & Maintenance), and S. A. Dongre, General Manager (Feeders). Appreciating the Foundry Division’s efforts, Upadhyay congratulated the team for timely execution, technical excellence and a strong customer-centric approach. He urged employees to continue strengthening customer confidence and enhancing BHEL’s operational capabilities through sustained dedication.
During the ceremony, the final (36th) TM4509 Magnet Frame Casting was formally handed over by A. K. Singh, Additional General Manager (Foundry), to R. K. Singh, Additional General Manager (TXM), signifying the successful completion of the prestigious order.
