Sagar: A ‘Save the Constitution’ workers’ convention was organised on Friday at Nagar Parishad Karrapur in Sagar district under the aegis of the Scheduled Caste Department of the Congress. The programme aimed to mobilise party workers and raise awareness about constitutional values and social justice.
The convention was organised by Dr Hemant Laria, State Vice-President of the Scheduled Caste Department. Prominent leaders present included Advocate Ritesh Rohit, State Secretary; Devdeen Ahirwar and Rajaram Ahirwar, State General Secretaries; Pushpendra Singh Thakur, Block President (Sagar Rural); Devendra Kurmi, Block President (Makronia); and former sarpanch Avdhesh Singh Thakur.
Senior leader Hiralal Chaudhary, councillors Seema Chaudhary and Mohan Ahirwar, Young Brigade president Sanjay Rohidas, Youth Congress president Sandeep Chaudhary, and several other leaders also attended. Hundreds of Congress workers participated enthusiastically. The organisers expressed gratitude to all leaders and workers for their presence and support.
