Railway Stations honor “Veer Bal Diwas” with tributes to the brave Sahibzadas

Bhopal: In a poignant tribute to the extraordinary courage of the four Sahibzadas—the sons of the tenth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji—the Bhopal Division of West Central Railway is observing Veer Bal Diwas today, December 26.
Under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Pankaj Tyagi, major railway stations have been transformed into educational hubs. Utilizing LED screens, digital displays, and public announcement systems, the railways are broadcasting the harrowing yet heroic history of the Sahibzadas’ martyrdom. These audio-visual presentations detail their unwavering stand for truth, faith, and humanity against tyranny.
“Our goal is to inspire passengers, particularly the youth, with the glorious heritage of our nation,” stated Senior DCM Saurabh Kataria. The initiative highlights how the young Sahibzadas chose self-respect and sacrifice over surrendering to injustice.
The program has received an overwhelming response from commuters, who praised the railways for connecting the new generation with India’s profound history of sacrifice. Through this initiative, the Bhopal Division continues to blend modern transit services with a deep commitment to national and cultural awareness.
