New Delhi, Dec 25 (UNI) India’s landmark journey to the Moon is set to be retold on screen in ‘Space Gen – Chandrayaan,’ an upcoming series on JioHotstar that chronicles India’s multi-mission lunar programme led by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
Produced by ‘The Viral Fever (TVF),’ the series traces the evolution of India’s Moon missions and the people behind them. Announcing the project on social media, the makers described it as a tribute to “every Indian who dares to dream and looks up at the Moon.”
The caption reads, “Sapne dekhne walon ke liye. Unhe poora karne walon ke liye. Har uss Bharatiya ke liye, jo chaand ki taraf dekhta hai.”
The announcement comes amid heightened global interest in India’s space programme, especially following the historic success of ‘Chandrayaan-3’ in 2023.
The mission captured national and international attention as India became the first country to successfully land near the Moon’s south pole.
‘Space Gen – Chandrayaan’ will stream exclusively on JioHotstar, celebrating India’s scientific ambition and its remarkable achievements in space exploration.
