Milan, Dec 16 (UNI) Global pop sensation Mariah Carey will take center stage at the Opening Ceremony of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, promising an unforgettable performance at the iconic Stadio San Siro on February 6, 2026.
This will mark the first time the five-time Grammy Award winner has ever performed at an Olympic Opening Ceremony, adding to the excitement of her Olympic debut. The announcement comes during the height of the holiday season, when her hit All I Want for Christmas Is You continues to dominate the charts.
Carey, known as the “Queen of Christmas,” joins as the first major international performer for the games, set to be held at the iconic Milano San Siro Olympic Stadium. With hits like We Belong Together and Obsessed alongside her holiday classic, Carey’s music has accumulated billions of streams, solidifying her as one of the most influential artists in history.

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics are set to run from February 6 to 22, with Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo serving as the primary host cities.
