Dharamshala, Dec 13 (UNI) Ahead of the third T20 International between India and South Africa, Proteas head coach Shukri Conrad lavished praise on Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, describing him as a world-class bowler capable of changing the course of a match in any situation.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference here, Conrad said Bumrah’s quality and consistency make him one of the most dangerous fast bowlers in world cricket. He added that the South African team is fully prepared for the contest and is confident of delivering a strong performance.
The South Africa coach also lauded the scenic beauty of the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, calling it an extremely beautiful venue. “Dharamshala is a wonderful place, and playing here is a special experience for every cricketer,” Conrad said.
Speaking about his team’s batting, Conrad highlighted Aiden Markram as an important left-handed batsman for South Africa, expressing confidence that he would play a crucial role in building a strong total wherever he bats.
On being asked about the impact of dew during the match, the coach said the team’s strategy would be framed keeping the conditions in mind. He asserted that South Africa is well-prepared for all situations and will look to register a win in the third T20I to extend their advantage in the series.
