Rahul says Shah ‘under mental pressure’ had no answer to his “vote chori” charge

New Delhi, Dec 11 (UNI) Upping his ante after his speech in Lok Sabha laced with “vote chori” allegations that invited sharp reaction from BJP leader Amit Shat, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said Shah “was under high mental pressure, and did not reply” to what he said about his vote theft charges during elections.

“(Amit Shah) used unacceptable language, his hands were shaking, you must have seen it… he mentally under high pressure, it was seen in the Parliament yesterday, the whole country saw it” Gandhi said, speaking to mediapersons outside Parliament on Thursday.

“And what I have said, he has not spoken anything about that, he gave no proof, I have directly challenged him, said that in press conferences to come out in open, let us talk about it in Parliament but got no answer to that… you all know what reality is,” Gandhi said, abruptly was .

Speaking in Lok Sabha a day before on electoral reforms, Gandhi is also the Leader of Opposition, accused present government of vote theft which in his view was “biggest treason.” He also accused the government of being not transparent about EVM, SIR and said the Chief Election Commissiomer (CEC) was given undue immunity.

Explaning government’s stance on SIR, Shah accused the Opposition of spreading “falsehoods”and has been misleading the country with one-sided lies.

How can a country be called safe if Prime Minister and Chief Ministers are elected by infiltrators, a democracy cannot be decided by ghuspethiye (infiltrators), adding SIR will delete each and all foreign nationals from electoral rolls.

Shah also cautioner that SIR falls strictly under the Election Commission’s domain under Article 326 and Parliament cannot debate it.
