Bhopal: BHEL Bhopal on Thursday welcomed the 77 RR batch of Indian Police Service probationers for a familiarisation visit to its manufacturing facilities. As part of their industrial training module, a special session on “Industrial Security of Critical Establishments” was organised at the Administrative Building.
During the visit, the IPS trainees paid a courtesy call on Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay, Executive Director, BHEL Bhopal. Senior officials, including T.U. Singh, General Manager (HR), Rajesh Kumar Agrawal, General Manager (SOM), and Arif Ahmad Siddiqui, Additional General Manager (HR), were also present.
In his address, Upadhyay congratulated the young officers on choosing a career dedicated to national service. He emphasised that BHEL holds a distinguished position not only in India but globally in engineering excellence. He noted that the organisation would be pleased to extend its technical expertise and experience to support their learning. Encouraging the officers to engage deeply with citizens, he underlined that sincerity, hard work and an understanding of social structures are key to achieving success in public service.
T.U. Singh briefed the officers on BHEL Bhopal’s industrial, cultural and social contributions, stating that the company has played a pivotal role in the development of Madhya Pradesh, particularly Bhopal. Agrawal introduced the probationers to BHEL’s products and facilities, followed by a presentation by Mohit Shah, Senior Deputy General Manager (CPX).
The visit was coordinated by Paritosh Kumar Dalei, Senior Manager (HR), BHEL Bhopal.
