Bhopal: In a brief yet significant ceremony at BHEL Bhopal, General Manager and Unit Head Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay flagged off the dispatch of the outer casing of the first LP turbine set manufactured for Adani Power Limited. The component, produced at STM Block-6, is destined for the Raipur Phase-II (2×800 MW) Unit-1 project.
Senior Adani Power official Priyanjay Maurya attended the ceremony, marking the collaboration between the two organisations. The event also saw the presence of key BHEL officials, including Vipul Agarwal, General Manager (MM); Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, General Manager (SOM); and Pradeep Chandra Kandpal, General Manager (Thermal & Logistics). Department Head A.K. Gupta, Manufacturing In-charge Rajesh Singh Yadav, and numerous officers and employees from the STM department were also in attendance, underscoring the importance of this milestone dispatch.
