The fair is a colorful festival of diverse folk art, texture, and design, where traditional aesthetics meet contemporary imagination in wood, brass, textiles, and natural colors. Students from MLB Girls College recently visited, where artisan Vinod Malevar introduced them to the cultural roots and practical utility of traditional crafts.

A highlight is the innovative collection where textiles are adorned with designs depicting the state’s folk heritage, historical architecture, and traditional symbols, transforming cloth into a visual cultural document.

The fair will conclude on Tuesday with a special ceremony at 4 PM dedicated to honoring the creators. Over 50 artisans who have made significant contributions to the field of craftsmanship will be recognized for their dedication to preserving and advancing the state’s artistic legacy.
