Bhopal: A 15-year-old tenth-grade student living in a slum near Vallabh Bhavan died of suicide by hanging himself at home on Thursday afternoon. No suicide note was found at the scene, so the reason behind the suicide is not yet known. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
According to police, the deceased’s name is Krishna Ambedkar. He was alone at home after returning from school on Thursday. His father, an auto driver, had gone to work, while his mother had gone to work. His sister was at tuition, and his brother was not at home.
Upon returning home, his mother found Krishna hanging from the noose. She immediately took him down and rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Police were notified late at night, and a team investigated the scene.
Police are speaking with the family and gathering information about the child’s daily routine, schoolwork, and recent behavior to determine the cause of the suicide.
