BHEL hosts cultural event for women staff

Bhopal: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bhopal, organised a vibrant cultural competition dedicated to celebrating the talents of its women employees under the banner of Women in Public Sector (WIPS). The event featured an impressive display of singing and dancing, reflecting the diverse artistic abilities within the organisation.

T.U. Singh, General Manager (HR), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Dr (Mrs) Pomila Sachdev, Chief Medical Services, Kasturba Hospital, was also in attendance. Addressing the gathering, WIPS Secretary Namrata Jaiswal presented the annual report, highlighting the group’s initiatives and achievements over the past year.

Participants showcased their skills across an array of genres, including classical, folk, pop, and thematic harmony-based performances. The stage came alive with energetic dance routines and melodious musical presentations, leaving the audience thoroughly engaged.

At the conclusion of the event, winners were announced for outstanding performances in various categories. The programme received widespread appreciation from both participants and spectators, reaffirming BHEL’s commitment to encouraging creativity and fostering a supportive environment for women in the workplace.
