Jaipur, (UNI) The ruling BJP in Rajasthan has reconstituted its state executive comprising 34 office bearers and members, giving more weightage to organisational leaders than the MLAs or MPs.
The new state executive has come into being after a long 480-day waiting period since the appointment of Madan Rathore as the state president.
The new body has nine vice presidents, four general secretaries, seven state secretaries, a treasurer and a vice treasurer, one cell incharge, three department or cells incharge, an office secretary and seven party state spokespersons.
Former MP Jyoti Mirdha, Mukesh Dadheech, Nagar Singh Jodha, ex- MLA Surendrapal Singh TT, Bihar Lal Bishnoi, Chagan Mahur, Hakru Maeda, Alka Mundra and Sarita Gena have been made vice presidents.
Likewise, Shravan Singh Bagdi, Bhupendra Saini, Mithilesh Gautam and Kailash Meghwal are the new state general secretaries.
Two sitting MLAs Kailash Verma (Bagru) and Kuldeep Dhankhar (Viratnagar) have been made party state spokespersons. No MLA or MP has been given a berth in the core team of office bearers.
Two MPs, Chunni Lal Garasia (RS), Damodar Agrawal (LS – Bhilwara) and 2 MLAs, Baba Balak Nath and Jitendra Gothwal, were in the previous executive committee; they did not get place in the new one.
