MP dominates Khelo India University Games medal table

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh athletes delivered a stellar performance at the Khelo India University Games in Udaipur, Rajasthan, securing multiple medals and validating the state’s advanced sports training system. The success was spearheaded by the State Shooting and Judo Academies.

= Shooting supremacy and Judo bronze

Shooters Neeru and Manisha Keer demonstrated remarkable skill in the Trap Women event, achieving a stunning one-two finish for the state. Neeru clinched the Gold Medal, while Manisha Keer secured the Silver, showcasing their technical precision and mental fortitude. Complementing this achievement, Judo Academy’s Sandhya Tiwari earned a Bronze Medal in the competitive -52 kg category, highlighting her excellent technique and agility.

Cooperation, Sports, and Youth Welfare Minister Vishvas Kailash Sarang extended heartfelt congratulations to the medal winners. He stated that the success of Neeru, Manisha, and Sandhya not only established Madhya Pradesh’s talent on the national stage but also underscored the effectiveness of the state’s scientific training methods, modern facilities, and expert guidance provided by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department. This consistent performance serves as a powerful inspiration and reaffirms the state’s growing strength in national sports.
