- Spiritual gathering at Bavadia Kalan Jain temple
Bhopal: Shri 1008 Bhagwan Vasupujya Digambar Jain Temple, Bavadia Kalan, has been blessed by the continuous presence of Pujya Muni 108 Shri Nirveg Sagar Maharaj since November 10. His holy congregation includes Pujya Chullak 105 Shri Jagrat Sagar, 105 Shri Savinay Sagar, and 105 Shri Samanvay Sagar. During his stay, Pujya Ailak 105 Shri Upsam Sagar Ji Maharaj and Pujya Muni 108 Shri Ajay Sagar Ji Maharaj also joined, making the occasion even more auspicious for the local Jain community.
Recognizing the devotion and enthusiasm of the followers, Pujya Munishri granted permission to organize an eight-day “Om Samayik Mantra Sadhana Camp” from November 16 to 23, in which nearly 125 participants took part. All attendees were guided on the need to understand the true objectives of Samayik and Sadhana before performing them.
Munishri explained that the goals of Samayik are purity of mind, kindness in speech, and health of body. Without achieving these, the true essence of Samayik remains incomplete. He also taught various methods of practising Samayik, including chanting techniques of the Om and Namokar mantras. Emphasizing calmness, concentration, and continuity as essential elements of spiritual practice, he conducted meditation sessions to deepen the participants’ experience.
The camp concluded on November 23, with the Munis acknowledging the spiritual benefits gained by the devotees. Rajendra and Meenakshi Jain of the temple committee expressed gratitude and thanked all community members for their cooperation and dedicated service throughout the event.
