Bhopal: The Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani is currently under way at the Regional Institute of Education, Shyamla Hills, where hundreds of students from across the country have gathered to participate in this prestigious national exhibition. Budding young scientists, representing their respective states, have brought with them a wide range of innovations, offering an engaging and inspiring display for students and visitors in Bhopal.

More than 200 stalls have been set up, featuring projects by Class 10 and Class 11 students from various parts of India. The young participants were also seen exchanging ideas and discussing their scientific concepts with peers from other states, creating a vibrant atmosphere of collaboration and learning.

Among the standout exhibits was the “Ubhyachar Vahan”, designed by Aditya Shaw and Agrim Chawala, Class 10 students of Bell School International. Their amphibious vehicle is intended for deployment during natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods. The model demonstrates how affected areas can be monitored with ease using its integrated 360-degree camera system. The vehicle is capable of delivering energy capsules and essential medical aid to survivors in hard-to-reach regions.

The young innovators explained that while traditional rescue operations often take more than ten days, their technology could make it possible to deliver critical support within just five days, significantly increasing the chances of saving lives. Designed to traverse all kinds of terrain including soil, water and uneven land the Ubhyachar Vahan also uses AI-based mapping to identify disease risks and urgent problems in disaster-hit zones, enabling timely preventive action.

Aditya Shaw and Agrim Chawala expressed their gratitude to their school guide, Vinita Khanna, for her constant support and mentorship throughout the development of their project.
