Los Angeles, Nov 20 (UNI) The first-look images from the Sophie Turner–starrer ‘Steal’ have been revealed, offering a glimpse into the upcoming high-stakes heist thriller.
The series also features Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (Bodies, The Queen’s Gambit) and Archie Madekwe (Saltburn, Gran Turismo) in key roles.
According to a press note, ‘Steal’ is a fast-paced, contemporary thriller centered on the “heist of the century” and an ordinary office worker, Zara (played by Turner), who unexpectedly becomes entangled in the chaos.
A routine day at Lochmill Capital, a pension fund investment company, takes a violent turn when a gang of armed thieves storms in, forcing Zara and her best friend Luke (Madekwe) to carry out their demands. The bigger question looms, Who would steal billions in pension funds, and for what purpose?
DCI Rhys (Fortune-Lloyd) leads the investigation, but as a recently relapsed gambling addict, he must juggle his own financial troubles while navigating the hidden agendas and competing interests behind the massive crime.
‘Steal’ is executive-produced by Greg Brenman and Rebecca De Souza, with Nuala O’Leary serving as producer. The Prime Video series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios in collaboration with Drama Republic.
