Bhopal: The Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) NCC unit successfully concluded its demanding seven-day Military and Adventure Training Camp at Kerwa Dam, held from November 10 to 16, 2025. A total of 55 cadets participated in the intense training designed to instill discipline, leadership, and physical toughness.
The rigorous schedule included basic military training, parade instruction, weapon training, and comprehensive lessons on physical fitness and discipline. The final days were dedicated to adrenaline-pumping adventure activities like trekking, climbing, rappelling, monkey crawling, and archery, which boosted the cadets’ enthusiasm.
The entire camp was conducted under the guidance of NCC Officer Sub Lieutenant Manoj Singh Manral, who focused on teaching the fundamentals of military life and the importance of teamwork. Despite the strict regimen, the participants showed immense dedication.
University dignitaries, including Pro-Chancellor Aditi Vats and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ravi Prakash Dubey, commended the cadets’ enthusiasm and discipline, emphasizing that such training programs are vital for strengthening self-confidence, leadership skills, and national spirit among the youth.
