Historic welcome for Muni Sangha at Sheetal Dham

  • Devotees gather in large numbers as two guru brothers reunite

Bhopal: Vidisha witnessed a historic spiritual moment as Muni Shri Sambhav Sagar Maharaj and his Sangha warmly welcomed the Muni Sangha arriving from Kirti Stambh. The two guru brothers met at Sheetal Dham, where a grand reception awaited Muni Shri Praman Sagar Maharaj, founder of Sanka Samadhan, who arrived on foot after completing his Chaturmas in Bhopal.

A massive gathering of devotees from Vidisha, Bhopal, Indore, Ganjbasoda, Rahatgarh, Lalitpur, Kolkata, and Jaspur joined the welcome ceremony, making the day truly memorable. Earlier in the morning, the Muni Sangha visited the Sanchi Jain Temple, where a religious assembly was held. During his discourse, Muni Shri highlighted the transformative power of charity, sharing inspiring examples of individuals whose lives changed through donations made even in poverty.

He also recalled a touching incident from 2009 at Shri Sammeshwar Ji Tirtha, where a woman donated her anklets so the committee could acquire a stone for worship—an act that was later honored by the community.

The Muni Sangha then commenced its journey to Vidisha at 2 p.m., with Vidisha MLA Mukesh Tandon offering Lamba Pad Vihar. The entire Jain community, Sheetal Vihar Trust, school students, and women’s groups welcomed the Sangha in traditional attire, accompanied by devotional chants of “Namostu.”

In the evening, the renowned Sanka Samadhan program was held at Sheetal Dham, drawing a large audience. The Sangha’s discourse and meal ritual will continue on Monday morning.
