- Red Cross Society presents oximeters to ASHA workers
Bhopal: A health camp focused on service, empathy, and health awareness was organized at the Gandhi Ashram Disabled and Vanvasi Boys Hostel in Gandhi Nagar under the banner of Seva Bharti. Medical teams from LNCT, Rishi Raj Dental Hospital, ASG Group Eye Hospital, and Seva Bharti’s Health Dimension conducted eye and dental checkups for 74 children and distributed free medicines, hygiene kits, nutritional protein powder, and educational materials.
During the program, the Red Cross Society provided pulse oximeters and hygiene kits to 40 ASHA workers. The kits were presented by Metropolitan President Shivmangal Singh, former judge and department coordinator Karan Singh Kaushik, Health Dimension Head Dr. Ram Avtar Yadav, Gandhi Ashram Secretary Manoj Soni, and Red Cross representative Satyam Baghel.
Seva Bharti Metropolitan Media Incharge Bhagwan Das Dhalia stated that the organization regularly conducts health camps in various settlements to raise health awareness and will continue such initiatives. On this occasion, the medical teams—including Dr. Babita Niranjan (Professor and HOD) and her team, Dr. Ashish Gangrade and his LNCT team, and doctors from the ASG Group—were honored by Vijay Gupta, Dinesh Pawar, Hostel Superintendent Manoj Keer, and Anju Mehra.
