- A call to reform and rebuild at Bhopal Central Jail
Bhopal: An introspection sermon was organised on Saturday in the hall of Central Jail Bhopal, where Aryika Ratna Srishti Bhushan Mataji addressed the inmates with a powerful message of repentance and transformation. She urged the prisoners to reflect on their past, correct their mistakes, and take a pledge to never repeat any wrongdoing. “No one can escape from God. You will find many instigators in life, but rarely find true well-wishers,” she said.
Mataji emphasised that a jail is not merely a place of confinement but a reformatory that shapes a better future. She stressed that while the inmates are serving time for their actions, their families—parents, spouses, and children—suffer silently in their absence. Encouraging prisoners to abandon thoughts of revenge, she said, “Enmity doesn’t end by eliminating the enemy, but by turning the enemy into a friend.”
Aryika Vishwayashmati Mataji also addressed the gathering, echoing similar sentiments of reform and spiritual upliftment.
Sanjay Jain Mungawali, President of Digambar Jain Mahasabha, expressed hope that the young inmates would embrace Mataji’s teachings and rebuild their lives with purpose. The event was organised by Srishti Mangalam Seva Samiti and Digambar Jain Mahasabha. Jail Superintendent Rakesh Bhangre and several officials were also present.
