Indian Pickleball Nationals 2025 continues strong momentum on Day 2 in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Nov 15 (UNI) Day 2 of the Indian Pickleball Nationals 2025, powered by Sabala, delivered a gripping day of competition at The Sports School, Bengaluru, with several categories witnessing close finishes and major shifts in the medal race.

As the championship progressed, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana and Rajasthan secured decisive wins across age groups, while Karnataka continued to produce competitive matches on home turf.

Karnataka remained at the centre of the action, putting up strong performances in both singles and doubles fixtures. Maharashtra extended its dominance in the junior events with solid wins, while Gujarat continued its upward trajectory from Day 1 by securing key victories in both the U-18 and U-21 brackets.

Telangana delivered commanding results in the senior categories, while Rajasthan’s doubles teams produced some of the day’s most emphatic score lines.

Day 2 featured several tightly contested matchups with numerous matches decided by narrow margins. Maharashtra maintained steady control in the youth categories, recording crucial singles and doubles wins that kept them at the top of the junior leaderboard.

Telangana once again asserted its strength in the 40 bracket with comfortable victories adding to its medal prospects. Rajasthan contributed some of the day’s standout doubles score lines sealing wins with commanding finishes.

Karnataka’s athletes produced spirited battles across divisions, pushing several fixtures to close score lines and showcasing resilience in front of a supportive Bengaluru crowd. Though results varied across age categories, the home state kept itself firmly in contention with disciplined performances.

One of India’s leading pickleball athletes and the winner of 30 women’s doubles winner Sharing her thoughts on the level of play: “The level of competition we’re witnessing at this Nationals is truly inspiring. Players from every corner of the country are showing remarkable skill, intensity and sportsmanship. It’s exciting to see how quickly pickleball is growing and events like this are raising the benchmark for the sport in India. Bengaluru has been an outstanding host and the passion on these courts is something every athlete can feel.”

Organised by the Karnataka Pickleball Association (KPA) under the aegis of the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) the Nationals continued smoothly across all 17 state-of-the-art courts. This edition features one of the most diverse and competitive fields in Indian pickleball history.

As Day 2 concluded the atmosphere remained electric with athletes and spectators anticipating an exciting run-in toward the finals. With strong results emerging across divisions the championship moves into Day 3 with intensified rivalries and rising expectations.
