Patna, Nov 14 ( UNI) Enthused by the trends in the Assembly election results, Bihar Minister Ashok Choudhary today said that Nitish Kumar “was, is, and will remain the Chief Minister of Bihar,” clearly stating that there is no vacancy for the post.
While briefing mediapersons, Ashok Choudhary said he had already predicted the NDA’s landslide victory and claimed that the alliance is repeating the success it saw in 2000.
He said, “The main reason behind this win is Nitish Kumar’s personality, honest image, and his commitment to work for everyone, including those who do not vote for him.”
Describing Kumar as a visionary leader, Choudhary said, “Kumar as a visionary leader who plans for the next 10 to 20 years, noting that even the Opposition acknowledges his work.”
He highlighted the government’s focus on women’s development, including the Rs 10,000 assistance scheme.
Choudhary also criticized the Congress party, saying it had no real issues in Bihar and failed to understand the state’s people. “It is impossible for a leader from Kerala to come to Bihar for just one or two months and understand everything about Bihar’s politics,” he added.
Regarding the performance of NDA partners, he said all parties worked together with unity. He further claimed that RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav lacked political credibility, and despite making several promises, he failed to earn the trust of the people, leading to the Opposition’s defeat.
