MPSEEA elects new body

Bhopal: The elections of the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education Employees’ Association (MPBSEEA), one of the oldest and most reputed employee organisations in the state (registered in 1967 and recognised by the Board), were successfully conducted here recently.

In the newly elected executive committee, Pramod Mewada was elected as General Secretary, while Devendra Sahai Saxena was elected Vice President. Sohanlal Siswal will serve as Joint Secretary, Arun Sitpal as Treasurer, and Vikas Bharatle as Spokesperson. In addition, eleven executive members were also elected. All office-bearers were selected through a secret ballot by the employees and officers of the Board of Secondary Education.

During the first meeting of the new executive, the members unanimously nominated Engineer Sudhir Nayak, President of the Ministry Service Officers and Employees’ Association, as the Honorary President of the Board’s Employees’ Association.

A ceremonial oath-taking event was held at the Board premises in a dignified setting, where Hon’ble MLA from Bhopal South-West, Bhagwandas Sabnani, administered the oath to the newly elected members. General Secretary Pramod Mewada delivered the welcome address, while Vikas Bharatle expressed gratitude on behalf of the association.

Speakers at the event highlighted the association’s rich democratic tradition and historic contribution towards employee welfare. They noted that the Board Employees’ Association has played a significant role in achieving major milestones for the benefit of staff over the years.

The gathering also remembered veteran leader Hari Derwal, one of the state’s most respected employee representatives of his time. The event was graced by several prominent union leaders, including Ajay Srivastava Neelu, Anil Vajpayee, Gajendra Kothari, Ramesh Rathore, and Rajkumar Patel.
