Bhopal: The Bhopal Railway Administration is intensifying preparations for the upcoming Ijtema religious congregation (November 14 to 17, 2025), which is expected to draw a massive influx of passengers.
Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) Yogendra Baghel and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr. DCM) Saurabh Kataria conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Bhopal station today to review crowd management strategies.
The officials assessed critical areas, including sanitation, holding areas, parking, ticketing counters, platform operations, and security arrangements. They issued strict instructions to all departmental supervisors to ensure that every necessary amenity is secured beforehand to guarantee passenger safety and convenience.
Sr. DCM Saurabh Kataria stated that the railway’s core objective during Iztema is the “security, convenience, and smooth operation of passengers.” To achieve this, the administration will deploy additional ticket counters, extra ticket checking staff, and increased Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel across the station.
