High alert on Indo-Nepal border in UP

Maharajganj, Nov 10 (UNI) High alert at the Sonauli border, the international border between India and Nepal, following the car blast in Delhi on Monday evening.

Everyone entering and leaving the border area is being thoroughly searched.

Security officials said entry into the Indian border is being granted only after identity cards are matched and verified. Scanning is being carried out at the border using state-of-the-art equipment, including dog squads.

All police stations in the district have been alerted too.

Monitoring is being done through CCTV cameras, and security agencies deployed along the border keep a close eye on every activity.

Following this incident, security agencies have also increased vigilance at the India-Nepal international border adjacent to Maharajganj district.
