Jhulan Goswami and Anjum Chopra join Salman Khan on ‘Bigg Boss 19’

New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) As celebrations continue across the nation following Team India’s historic maiden ICC Women’s World Cup victory, former cricketers Jhulan Goswami and Anjum Chopra made a special appearance on the sets of ‘Bigg Boss 19’.

The cricket legends joined host Salman Khan on the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode, where they spoke about the team’s memorable win and shared their joy with fans.

Sharing pictures from the set on Instagram, Jhulan wrote, “This month so far has been filled with many unforgettable nights, and this was definitely one of those nights. Had such a lovely time sharing the stage with Salman Khan and Anjum Chopra on Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar. Can’t wait for you all to see the fun moments!”

India ended a long wait for the Women’s World Cup trophy after two heartbreaks in the 2005 and 2017 finals, defeating South Africa by 52 runs in a dominant display.

After the win, Jhulan took to X to express her pride, writing, “The wait was long, but the joy… unmatched.”

Anjum Chopra also shared her emotions online, posting, “The girls have made our dreams a reality. Here’s to a glorious new era for WomenInBlue.”

Both Jhulan and Anjum were present at the final as broadcasters and joined the celebrations on the field. A touching moment unfolded when an emotional Jhulan hugged captain Harmanpreet Kaur after the victory.
