BJP urges workers to ensure every eligible voter is enrolled in SIR Drive

Dhar: Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Vikram Verma has galvanized party workers, urging them to actively participate in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll. Verma made the appeal at a one-day workshop held at the Dhar BJP district office for three local Mandals.

The Election Commission’s SIR program, running from November 4 to December 4, involves BLOs verifying voter details door-to-door. Verma called on activists to “get into the field” to ensure every eligible citizen can exercise their right to vote.

“A responsible electorate is crucial for a strong democracy,” Verma stated. “Every Booth Level Agent (BLA) must ensure no qualified voter is left out, and no ineligible voter is added.”

He specifically instructed workers to help citizens turning 18 by January 1, 2026, submit Form 6 for registration.

District President Mahant Nilesh Bharti likened the BLA’s role to that of a soldier in a battle, emphasizing their importance in ensuring “booth victory.” He stressed that every party worker must fully cooperate with the Election Commission’s process to ensure transparent and smooth upcoming elections.
