New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended his greetings to citizens across the country on the auspicious occasions of Kartik Purnima and Dev Deepavali, two significant festivals deeply rooted in Indian culture and spirituality.
In a message shared with the nation on handle X, PM Modi said, “Heartiest greetings of Kartik Purnima and Dev Deepavali to all family members across the country.”
He offered his wishes for well-being and prosperity, stating, “May this divine occasion, connected to Indian culture and spirituality, bring happiness, peace, health, and prosperity to everyone. May our sacred tradition associated with holy baths, charity, aarti, and worship illuminate everyone’s life.”
Kartik Purnima, celebrated on the full moon day of the Kartik month, holds immense religious significance in Hinduism, highlighted by sacred bathing rituals and profound spiritual practices. Dev Deepavali, often known as the festival of lights of the gods, is observed with great reverence, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness.
