The Great Khali Receives Traditional Welcome in Mandla

Mandla, World-renowned wrestler The Great Khali (Dalip Singh Rana) arrived in Mandla to a huge turnout for the ‘Yuva Shakti Sangam’ event, organized by the Bhagirath Seva Vikas Parivar and Shri Shyam Mandir Agrasen Trust.
Khali’s arrival was preceded by a free blood donation camp held from 9 am to 2 pm for patients affected by Sickle Cell Anemia, where many voluntarily donated blood.
After a warm welcome at Jabalpur Airport and along the route, Khali reached Rani Durgavati College, where he paid tribute to the statue of the revered queen. Addressing the media, Khali voiced deep concern over the rising drug menace among the nation’s youth.
He appealed to the government to develop small gyms and grounds and organize more local sports competitions to naturally steer youth towards sports and away from addiction.
During the event, Khali was honored according to Mandla’s tribal tradition, receiving a ‘Veeran Mala’ and being adorned with a traditional tribal turban. He described the future of Indian children in WWE as bright, provided local sports are promoted. Khali also praised the BJP as the choice for advancing the country.
