Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav listened to the ‘Man Ki Baat’ broadcast of PM Narendra Modi, along with local residents at Kamla Nehru Higher Secondary School in Kotra Sultanabad. On this occasion, he also administered an oath to the gathering to promote the use of swadeshi products.

After the broadcast, CM said that Prime Minister Shri Modi has infused positive energy across the nation through his actions and innovative ideas. He remarked, “The ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Program represents a miniature reflection of India, providing concise insights into the new and unique developments taking place across the diverse states of the country”. Many of these state-level innovations, he added, are inspirational and worthy of emulation.

Dr. Yadav appreciated Prime Minister Shri Modi’s special mention, in the 127th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, of the growing interest of youth in the Sanskrit language. He said that, under the PM’s vision, Kevadiya Dham in Gujarat has been developed into a beautiful and attractive tourist destination. He said that on the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, various programs will be organised and the state government’s delegation will also participate in these events.

Foundation Day celebrations

Extending greetings for Chhath Puja, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav called the festival a strong expression of Indian family traditions. He also announced that during the Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day celebrations, a Mahanatya (Grand Theatrical Performance) focusing on Emperor Vikramaditya will be staged across five platforms in Bhopal, aiming to revive the glorious era of the emperor.

During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address, PM highlighted that the program coincides with the 150th year since the composition of the national song, ‘Vande Mataram’ and announced that nationwide events inspired by patriotism will be held to commemorate the occasion. He said, referring to November 15 as the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, that it will be celebrated as ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas’ (Tribal Pride Day). The Prime Minister urged youth to read and learn from the lives and struggles of great tribal leaders who symbolize India’s indigenous pride.
