Bhopal: Panic gripped the Ashoka Garden area of the capital after the body of a young man was discovered in a Nullah along the 80-Foot Road. Police, alerted to the scene, retrieved the body and sent it for post-mortem, registering a case of suspicious death.
The presence of the body has raised immediate fears of foul play, though police are currently investigating whether the death was a murder or a suicide. Crucially, an unidentified key was recovered near the corpse, which authorities are attempting to identify in hopes of establishing the victim’s identity or providing a breakthrough in the case.
Currently, the deceased remains unidentified. FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) teams have been called to the scene for a detailed examination. The police are simultaneously questioning local residents and reviewing nearby CCTV footage. The true cause of death is expected to be revealed once the post-mortem report is received.
