Chennai, Oct 19 (UNI) Thanks to timely detection of a technical snag by the alert pilot, 104 passengers and five crew members onboard a Bengaluru-bound Air India Express flight had a narrow escape at the Chennai airport today.
The flight was gathering speed at the run away and was about to take off when the alert pilot detected the snag at 1035 hrs .
He immediately alerted the Air traffic control authorities and the flight was brought to the bay.
All the passengers were disembarked from the flight and after technical engineers rectified the snag, the aircraft departed for Bengaluru at 1200 noon, after a delay about 90 minutes.
