Deputy CM Shukla Stresses Sensitivity, Punctuality in Sidhi Hospital

Sidhi: Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla inspected the Sidhi District Hospital, directing medical staff to improve services with increased professionalism and empathy. He emphasized that doctors, viewed as “Gods” in society, must treat patients with sensitivity and dedication.

Service and Infrastructure Boost

Shukla instructed all doctors and staff to adhere strictly to timing and ensure the constant presence of personnel in the emergency room. He highlighted that under PM Modi and CM Yadav, health infrastructure is rapidly expanding. Sidhi Hospital’s capacity has increased to 400 beds with the opening of the 100-bed MCH wing. Construction of the Rs 16 crore Critical Care Health Block is progressing, and the IPHL lab, expected to finish by February 2026, will offer 136 tests in one location. He also called for quickly resolving issues related to outsourced staff recruitment.

Maternal Care and Accountability

The Deputy CM prioritized maternal health, mandating 100% registration and regular check-ups for pregnant women to identify high-risk cases early. He stressed the importance of cleanliness and ensuring adequate drug availability. Shri Shukla directed the formation of a committee to transparently audit the use of government funds for hospital infrastructure and warned that negligence or indifference will not be tolerated.
