The victim girl was traveling in a moving vehicle late evening on Thursday, when bike-borne assailants allegedly threw acid at her. Cruel splashes of the corrosive liquid hit girl’s face, causing severe burn injuries. She was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where doctors report her condition is serious and critical care is underway.
The Piplani Police acted swiftly, launching an intense investigation and detaining one suspect for questioning. Initial probes suggest the attackers deliberately targeted victim while on a motorcycle.

Under Section 124, a convicted acid attacker faces a minimum of 10 years in prison, extending up to life imprisonment. Crucially, the law also mandates a heavy fine, which is specifically allocated to cover the victim’s medical expenses, providing vital support to the survivors of these barbaric assaults.
