Jabalpur: The Jabalpur Rail Division has been crowned the overall champion, securing the prestigious shield at the 8th State Rally of the Bharat Scouts & Guides, hosted by West Central Railway (WCR). The five-day event, running from October 11 to 15 at the Railway Stadium, showcased intense competition across various events.
The Kota Division claimed the second position, with the Bhopal Division finishing third.
The highlight of the event was a vibrant Campfire and Cultural Programme held on October 13, graced by WCR General Manager Shobhana Bandopadhyay. She was joined by Additional General Manager Pramod Kumar Khatri and other senior officials, including the Divisional Railway Manager, Kamal Kumar Talreja. The rally successfully brought together Scouts, Guides, Rovers, and Rangers from all three divisions, underscoring the railway’s commitment to youth development and skill-building.
