Quake measuring 5.7 hits Vanuatu Islands: GFZ

Beijing, Oct. 8 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Vanuatu Islands at 2236 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 15.68 degrees south latitude and 168.06 degrees east longitude.
