BHEL Bhopal honours excellence in Hindi at rajbhasha awards ceremony

Bhopal: The Rajbhasha Vaijayanti Shield and Rajbhasha Gaurav Samman ceremony was held at BHEL, Bhopal, to celebrate excellence in promoting the use of Hindi. The event was graced by P.K. Upadhyay, General Manager & Head and President of the Official Language Implementation Committee; T.U. Singh, General Manager (Human Resources); along with other senior officials, DROs, departmental Hindi committee representatives, competition winners, and students who excelled in Hindi in board examinations.

Addressing the gathering, Upadhyay expressed his delight at the participation and congratulated all attendees. He said it was a moment of pride that two General Managers from BHEL Bhopal had received the Hindi Seva Samman from the Governor. He also noted that BHEL had earned the prestigious Rajbhasha Kirti Award from the Home Minister for its exemplary work in Hindi.

Singh, in his remarks, said Hindi was a source of pride and identity, adding that BHEL’s inclusive environment encourages even non-Hindi speakers to embrace the language.

During the event, the Chief Guest presented shields and certificates to the winning departments and employees. The programme was conducted by Poonam Sahu, Manager (HR-Rajbhasha), who also proposed the vote of thanks.
