BJP faces internal rift in Chanderi, says Rahul Raj

Bhopal: Congress spokesperson Rahul Raj has sharply criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over growing internal conflict in Chanderi. He said that the BJP district panchayat president’s corruption allegations against a police officer, who is also the daughter-in-law of a BJP MLA, expose the truth of “loan, crime and corruption” under the current government.

Rahul Raj remarked that BJP leaders themselves have validated Congress chief Jitu Patwari’s claim that corruption is rampant across Madhya Pradesh. “When BJP’s own leaders are victims of their party’s corruption, imagine the plight of ordinary citizens,” he said, adding that it is time for the public to rethink their support.

Notably, Ashoknagar district panchayat president Rao Ajay Pratap Singh has written to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, seeking the removal of Isagarh police station in-charge Meena Raghuwanshi, who is Chanderi MLA Jagannath Singh Raghuwanshi’s daughter-in-law, alleging corruption and misconduct.
