Arvind Kejriwal begins three-Day Goa Visit

New Delhi Oct 3 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal began a three-day visit to Goa today, stating the trip aims to energise party workers.

In a post on social media platform X, Kejriwal launched a sharp criticism against the state’s administration, alleging that a “BJP-Congress alliance” has governed Goa for 13 years.

Kejriwal’s statement accused the ruling parties of presiding over a period marked by “massive illegal construction, illegal mining, insane amount of corruption, violence.” He further listed deteriorating law and order, high crime rates, poor road conditions, crimes against women, frequent power cuts, unemployment, a decline in tourism and an “assault on Goan culture” as consequences of this rule.

The AAP leader claimed that these conditions have created an environment where the average Goan lives in constant fear and is unable to speak against the government without facing threats or attacks.

Kejriwal stated that his visit will involve meetings with AAP leaders and volunteers, whom he described as courageously raising their voice against the current administration on behalf of the people of Goa.

The BJP and Congress have not yet responded to these allegations.
