J&K Cricket Association to host 3 Ranjit Trophy among 8 matches

Jammu, Sep 27 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) is set to host a landmark season featuring a total of eight prestigious national matches including three Ranjit Trophy in the twin divisions.

As per the official handout, the thrilling lineup includes three Ranji Trophy (Senior Men), three CK Nayudu Trophy (U-23 Men), and two Cooch Behar Trophy (U-19 Men) matches.

In Ranji Trophy, J&K will clash against the legendary 42-time champions Mumbai, scheduled at SK Stadium Srinagar from October 15 to 18, 2025 followed by another intense Ranji Trophy face-off with Rajasthan at the same venue from October 25 to 28 and the action then shifts to JKCA Hostel Ground Jammu, where the J&K team will battle Meghalaya in the Col CK Nayudu Trophy from October 26 to 29.

Thereafter, the senior squad returns to the same ground for a Ranji Trophy match against Hyderabad from November 16 to 19.

At Jammu University Ground, the U-19 squad will showcase their talent in a thrilling Cooch Behar Trophy encounter against Mumbai from November 23 to 26 and they will then take on Baroda from December 1 to 4 continuing the cricketing fervor in the region.

The JKCA will also host two more CK Nayudu Trophy matches against Baroda and Goa at JKCA Hostel Ground Jammu, scheduled between February 6 to 9 and February 13 to 16 in 2026.

Meanwhile, the JKCA has invited sports journalists from both Jammu and Kashmir regions to apply for accreditation to cover these momentous events.

Brigadier Anil Gupta, Member Administration JKCA, emphasized, “Only journalists and cameramen accredited by the JKCA will be granted access to these exclusive venues. We also remind all media representatives that no video recording or live broadcasting of the matches is permitted, in respect of the exclusive media rights held by the BCCI. JKCA reserves the right to reject any application without prior notice or explanation.”
