Hyderabad, Sep 21 (UNI) Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next 48 hours and on September 26 and 27, the Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places or at many places over the state during the next seven days.
Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in all districts of Telangana during the next five days.
The Southwest monsoon has been normal over the state.
Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places over Mahabubabad, Suryapet and Nirmal districts of Telangana during the last 24 hours.
Rain occurred a few places over the state during the same period, the report added.
